Design Brief:

This evolving forever home in Ettalong Beach is a delightful project for my client and their young family. Butlers Lane’s focus was to design a serene master bedroom and a functional home office that harmonises with the coastal surroundings while incorporating warmth, tranquility, and a hint of playfulness.

Inspired by nature, the colour palette features soothing blues, greens, neutral tones, and natural timbers. For the home office, we selected custom joinery in Laminex's Green Slate, accented with Rose Gold Metallic and Pebble Mushroom Knobs. The calming green hue enhances focus and efficiency, making it an ideal choice for a workspace. Thoughtful details include integrated storage solutions, cable management systems, a whiteboard, letter trays, and organised drawers, complemented by open timber shelving.

In the master bedroom, patterned wallpaper and detailed wall paneling create an inviting backdrop for curated furniture, brass accents, and carefully chosen lighting. A cozy rug, artwork, elegant linen window treatments, and an indoor plant complete the space, making it a perfect retreat.
